1.sticky (adj)= 粘糊糊的
stick (verb)= 粘
sticker (noun)= 贴纸
ex: the table is too sticky, can you clean it?

2. all-you-can-eat= 自助餐
buffet= 自助餐
ex: when you go to a buffet, you should eat as much as possible.
ex: Shanghai has lots of amazing all-you-can-eat restaurants.
ex: I went to the buffet and I didn’t have enough food to eat.

3. take-outs= 外卖
ex: order take-outs= 点外卖
ex: My husband orders take-outs everyday.

Everyone in China received a notice in January that we need to stay at home as far as possible until there will be safe outside. Actually, before the covid 19 came, I have resigned. So, it didn’t affect me so much. The only inconvenient thing is that I need to walk to the gate of estate and take my delivery by myself.
It is not easy to stay at home for a long time at first, but now I am used to it. I’ve watched a lot of foreign movies, TV shows and tiktok. I’ve learned some methods of cooking on tiktok and used up a bag of flour on cooking.
I have also learned some coures of SISU such as Englend & American literature, lexicology, Morndern English Grammer. There are too difficult to study by myself, so I bought some traslation of reference books.
Our country did well on covid 19, so I think our life will be normal soon.

So, it didn’t affect me so much. The only inconvenient thing is that I need to walk out and take my delivery/take-outs by myself.
