Vocabulary

1.realize (verb)= 发现
ex: Lily, I cut my hair! “Really? I didn’t realize the change”.
ex: I just realized that it’s Friday!

2. optimistic (adj)= 乐观的
ex: Qin is very optimistic, she doesn’t think too much

3. pessimistic (adj)= 悲观的
ex: he is very pessimistic, he is always complaining.

4. can’t stand (      ) = 受不了（      ）
ex: I can’t stand him, he is so stinky. 我受不了他 他好臭的
ex: I can’t stand the pain, I need epidural.
ex: can you stand him/her/ Anna?

5. stinky= 臭的
smelly
ex: Some people are very stinky, I cannot sit in their car.
ex: Do you like stinky tofu? So-so.

ex: the table is so sticky, can you clean it ?

ex: She’s very needy, she doesn’t want you out of her sight.

Recently I watched an old movie. That is called 《Me Before You》.The movie talks about village girl Lu become better and better after meet a rich man Wil. Wil is a freedom and adventure young man but he has disabled after the accident. Therefore his mother gets an nurses to take care of Wil. Then Lu is comes into his life. Wil slowly find Lu is different to others nurses, Lu’s straightforward disposition bring a brave for him. Wil helps Lu realize dream when Wil konws she home is poor and can’t realize dream. Slowly they for in love. But Wil’s disability isn’t cure so he wann’t pain to life and decide to Euthanasia. He teachs Lu find herself and broaden her horizons ，joy her life. In the end, He leaves a fortune for Lu after he dead ，and let Lu’s realize her dreams. The movie is very touching.It is wonderful thing to meet such a person.

Wil is a freedom and adventurous young man but he becomes handicapped after the accident. Therefore his mother employs/hires a nurses to take care of Wil. Then Lu is comes into his life. Wil slowly finds that Lu is different to others nurses, Lu’s straightforward disposition brings courage to for him. Wil helps Lu to realize her dream when he knows that she is from a poor family and can’t realize dream. Slowly they fall in love. But Wil is still handicapped so he doesn’t want pain and decides to have Euthanasia. He guides Lu to find herself and broaden her horizons ，enjoy her life. In the end, He leaves a fortune for Lu after he passes away/dies to let Lu’s realize her dreams. The movie is very touching. It is wonderful thing to meet such a person.
