Describe a foreign culture that you like.
What culture is it?
When were you first exposed to this culture?
How does that culture compare to your own?
In my opinion, I think foreign culture is more freedom than our culture. because when you in some design area or some creative industry, you will find that a lot of foreigners designers are good at imagining and they can do a lot of that you can’t think of it. I think maybe it’s because of the difference of the two education system. We are not allowed to speak more in the classroom when teacher are teaching something. We just follow what teacher are saying. Maybe in the foreigner country, the teacher are more willing to their children to communicate with each other more and say more opinion about the things yourself, and don’t be afraid other’s opinion. When I first learn about the culture, I’m not use to it because we never say something to others directly, if they don’t satisfied with it, they will speak to me directly, that will make me not very comfortable. I think it is culture difference when I’m at work. I think it’s very good for you to know someone’s thinking.
Revised
In my opinion, I think foreign culture is very different compared to our culture. You will find that a lot of foreign designers are good at imagination in the creative industry. I think maybe it’s because of the differences of the two education systems. We are not allowed to speak out in the classroom when the teacher is teaching something. We just follow the instructions. Maybe in the foreign country, the teachers encourage their students to communicate with each other more and share their thoughts without being afraid of others’ opinions. When I first learned about the culture, I wasn’t used to it because we never say anything to others directly, on the other hand, if the foreigners aren’t satisfied with something, they would tell me directly, I wasn’t comfortable with that. I think there is a cultural difference when I’m at work. I think it’s better to know others’ thoughts.
