3. stall/ stand/ booth= 摊位
ex: bathroom stalls

ex: is street vending legal?

Speaking exercise

I just quit my job, next week will be the last week in my current company. I want to find another opportunity. This company cannot give me the higher promotion. I quit it first then I will find another job and go to have interview very comfortably.

Nowadays there are still have problems of inequalities in China. For example, one of the inequities, which I feel most obviously is between Shanghainese and people from other cities. When I came to Shanghai the first year, a lot of people talk to me in Shanghainese at first. I usually had to say could you please speak Mandarin. And the pension between of us is very different. They get much higher than us, however we paid the same insurance.

Government officials always require that men and women should be equal in employment. But most companies setup some restrictions for women. Men usually gain rapid promotion than women. And the age of retirement men is higher than women, however men have shorter life than women.
