Reading

Thank you for your question. Last winter, my uncle cam to visit my home and stayed for the chiense new year. He lived in the northeast part of China. I hadn’t seen him for years. He was still skinny and smiley just as how I remembered. There were a lot more wrinkles though, around his eyes and cheeks rather comic when he smiled. It was so nice to have him for the holiday. Traditionally for the holiday, we had all sorts of snacks spread out on the table and hot tea brewed in the pot so that guests could enjoy and feel relaxed. Especially for my uncle’s visit, my mom made lots of delicious local dishes too. so that my uncle could taste something different from food from the northeast. My uncle said he had missed that enjoyed those local dishes a lot. My other relatives came to visit too. almost every day, that’s the tradition, and especially because my uncle came this year and stayed with us. they were very happy for his visit.
