1.except= 除了
ex: I like to eat everything except for green onion.
ex: I like all fruits except for durian.

2. realize (verb)= 发现
ex: I open the door and realize that it’s raining.
ex: I wake up and realize that it’s Monday.
ex: He goes to school that realizes that he’s late.

My best friend is Kiki. She likes to draw. I like to play with her. She has a glasses, she is tall. She is thin. We play on the playground. She is very helpful and kind. She is smart, she help me many time. One day Kiki help me, becroes my Maths is not very good. I ask she, “what is this answer?” she answers” it’s twenty!”

The five friends begin the game. They play happily near the farm. Chris Cricket is “it” in the first game. He sees something move under a leaf. He turns over the leaf happily but finds that it is just an ant. Then he sees a shadow move behind a tree and discovers that it is just a bush swaying in the wind. He continues to look around for his friend.

The moon is already out and the stars are shining when Chris finds all of his friends except Ray. Ray comes out of his hiding place. Then he suddenly remembers his light. He and his friends walk back  to the tree log. They talk happily about the game on the way. When they reach the log, they discover that Ray’s light is gone.
