Grammar

In English, you don’t just “play” games, you can play
  instruments 乐器
ex: I’m playing the violin/ I’m playing the clarinet/ I’m playing the piano

ex: I’m playing chess/ I’m playing cards/ I’m playing tic tac toe 

Vocabulary

1. plant= 种植
ex: My mom planted an apple tree in the back yard.

2. rest (noun)= 休息
rest (verb= 去休息
ex: I need a rest today because I did too much homework yesterday.
ex: The dog is resting in the bed because he is tired.

3. nap= sleep for a short time 小觉
ex: noon nap= 午觉
ex: Sometimes I take a nap in the afternoon because I’m very tired.
ex: My grandma took a nap at home because she likes sleeping.

4. tic tac toe= 井字棋
ex: I just played tic tac toe with Jerry and I won!

5. make up (verb)= 编造
ex: you can make up the story, it doesn’t have to be true.
ex: I don’t like to make up a story because I’m real.

6. instrument =乐器
ex: Can you play any instruments? What instrument do you want to learn?
ex: I want to learn how to play the piano. It’s my favorite instrument.

7. greet= 打招呼🙋
ex: do you greet your friends everyday at school?

8. shake hands= 握手🤝
ex: if you meet someone for the first time, you might need to shake his hand.
