1.nod (verb)=点头
ex:Lily, do you need more money? Yes I nodded.

2. pajama (PJ) (noun)= 睡衣
ex: I like to wear pajamas at home.
ex: I change into my pajamas when I go home.

3. receptionist (noun)= 前台
ex: the receptionist always greets the customer.

4. good (形容东西/人)— well (形容动词)
ex: she speaks english well
ex: he speaks Chinese very well.
ex: he treats me very well.
ex: They pay me well.

5. convenient (adj)= 方便
ex: It’s more convenient to have a cat than a dog.
ex: The transportation in Shanghai is very convenient.

6. gum (noun)=口香糖
ex: Do you like to eat gums?

ex: I have an upset stomach today, I cannot drink cold things.

Speaking exercise

Sometimes I have to speak English for the customer. My colleagues couldn’t speak English. She has two daughters, she has to take care them. The young daughter 4 years old, the old one is 6 years old. Her husband lives in hometown. I remember a customer want to blow dry her hair straight and curly. The receptionist told me to help her speak some English to the customer. We have another colleague speak English very good.

I can’t speak some professional words for beauty salon. I finished my work, I go to the gym to exercise. I take a shower at the gym and get back home. Last last week, customer invited me and another colleague to sing K. I brought some beer for another people, I drink water. I drank alcohol too much last month. I cooked pork by myself, I want to gain weight. I eat McDonald every afternoon. An assistant wants to gain weight, he send a message for me last night. He lost 10 kg.
