Vocabulary

1.negative (adj) =负面的
positive (adj)=正面的
ex: You want to be with people who are positive, they will make you smile.
ex: He is a negative person, he is always unhappy.

2. optimistic= 乐观的
pessimistic=悲观的
ex: she’s very optimistic, even if she fails, she will try again.
ex: He is very pessimistic, he refuses any opportunities.

3. permanent (adj) = 永久的
permanently (adv)= 永久性的
ex: if his action hurt your ears permanently, it would be a big problem.
ex: if you get into a car accident, it will be on permanent record.

4. hike (verb)= 爬山
ex: We will go hiking together.
ex: Lily and Laura hate hiking, because they dislike sports.

This weekend I will back my hometown meet my father. I haven’t seen him for one year, so I have to back home and meet him. He was a soldier for about 20 years and he was very strict and traditional. He is very strict about my education, he made rules at home, about polite to older person and polite to peers. But he’s always traditional, he thought work for government is best way to live. it was my mother always encourage me to look around the world, the bigger cities. My father never interfered my decision. We separated when I was 7 years old, because that time he was still a soldier. I remembered that when I cut my foot, we went to hospital to pack my cut, I didn’t say thank you to the doctor, and he slapped my face. He thought this behavior made him lose face. My mom got crazy, because after I slapped, my ear was bleeding, she worried your ears. I was very introverted, I don’t like talk with someone.

I remembered that when I hurt my foot, we went to the hospital to put on bandage, I didn’t say thank you to the doctor, and he slapped my face. He thought this behavior disgraced him . My mom got crazy, because after I got slapped, my ear was bleeding, she was worried of my ear. I was very introverted, I didn’t like to talk to anyone.
