1.baptized= 受洗
ex: I got baptized when I was 10 years ago.
ex: spiritually, I am 17 years old, because I got baptized 17 years ago.

2.confiscate= 没收
ex: The teachers will confiscate the phones if they see them on you.

One of my elementary school classmate’s mother, she’s 70 years old. She had my classmate at the age at 40. the boy used to fight another boy, I helped him to win. His mother remembered me, and wanted to know how I’ve been lately. I managed to call her back yesterday to thank her for remembering me. She told me about his son and his job, and how he’s doing recently. He now makes a few millions a year. He’s a fund manager. What she told me made me have a nightmare, I woke up in the middle of my sleep, filled with worries and anxieties. He doesn’t want to have a relationship, his mother thinks he’s too busy with work. He also started his own business in a foreign country with a partner. He used to look a bit stupid, but now he has grown to be such a successful figure.
