I have a problem with my father. Every year, our children go back to their grandparent’s home, there is 3 months free for my husband and me. At that time, I always plan a travel for our family for my parents, my husband and I. One of the reasons is I want to give my parents more good memories through the trip. Everytime I discuss this plan with my father, my father express some emotions that he  doesn’t want to travel with me. The excuse is that he doesn’t want me to spend so many time to make this plan, also I asked my father to give me money to travel, because that will make him comfortable. I can afford the travel fee, but I think my father gives me money, that makes him more comfortable. I think he wants go with me, he doesn’t understand how to express this emotion. Every time we will face argument about that topic, my mother feels very sad about our argument. I think it’s a problem between my father and me.

This year, I plan ten days trip for Japan. I already make some plans for this trip. When I discuss the details with my mother and father, my mother talks with me about the details happy, but my father doesn’t do that.

Last two years, I take them to go abroad two times a year. I have an agreement, from next year, I just take them once. In the winter holiday, I will take a trip with my husband.

Revised

I have a problem/an issue with my father. Every year, our children go back to their grandparent’s home, there are 3 months of free time for my husband and me. At that time, I always plan a trip for our family: for my parents, my husband and I. One of the reasons is I want to give my parents more good memories through the trip. Everytime I discuss this plan with my father, my father expresses some emotions that he refuses to travel with me. The excuse is that he doesn’t want me to spend so much time to make this plan, also I asked my father to give me the money for the trip, because that will make him feel more comfortable. I can afford the traveling fee, but I think if my father gives me money, that makes him feel more comfortable. I think he wants to go with me, he doesn’t know how to express himself correctly. Every time we will argue about the same topic, my mother feels very sad about our argument. I think it’s a problem between my father and me.

This year, I am planning a ten-days trip to Japan. I already made some plans for this trip. When I discussed the details with my mother and father, my mother was very happy about it, but my father wasn’t.

For the last two years, I took them to go abroad twice a year. I had an negotiation with them that starting from next year, I will just take them abroad once a year. During the next winter holiday, I will go on a trip with my husband.
