ex: I need to learn the jargon in the medical industry.

I have a promotion, along with the promotion, I have more challenging work. I have to take more responsibility in a project. Now I’m doing a project that’s about rare disease, it’s a little bit difficult than the project I done before. Now I’m kind of like project manager. The actual project manager is going to quit this job, she’s planning to go to another company, she left the work to us. My boss doesn’t want to pay more attention to this project, so just me and another analyst are doing this project.

My challenges are first, I don’t understand this team, I need to learn lots of background about this job, this disease, and we have to do research about two diseases and two drugs, so it’s a lot of work for our two. The second is I need to interview some KOLs. They’re very busy, some of them are in WuHan right now, we can interview them online, but I can’t block their time, I can make appointment with them. It’s really difficult for me to talk with them about difficult disease. I must learn a lot of professional vocabulary in Chinese. My clients are listening to my interview online, so I’m a little bit nervous. There are 8 people online. Some doctors are very nice, you can talk with them very smoothly. Some doctors have very bad tempers. The workload is very high for us, we work until 1 or 2 o’clock everyday. My boss put a lot of stress on me. Yesterday he yelled to me at 9 o’clock, she wants me to send to her the KOL list. I just list the names and the hospital department, but I didn’t put the profile. I know I should but I don’t want to. She’s in really hurry. I really feel it’s a difficult job for me, I don’t know if everyone in this situation will meet the same challenges as me. I have doubt about my qualification. My clients are foreigners, I can’t communicate with them very well.
