If we sign contract with the landlord, the agent will get his commission. If we rent the office without the agent, he will not get his commission. Actually we did this. The property management came to us and told us we can rent the office from him. The price is similar, only 300 yuan difference. The agent knew this, he called the landlord to call off the deal, and he will find a new tenant with good price.
