Vocabulary

1. in-person= 本人 亲自
ex: did you see him in person? 你本人看到他了嘛?
ex: Do I have to come in person? Or can I just call you?
ex: I can’t tell you over the phone, I have to tell you in person.

2. paper towel=纸巾 (手and屁屁)
ex: I bought many paper towels on JingDong.

3.nu-bra= 隐形胸贴
ex: when you wear a sexy gown/ top, you might need to wear nu-bra.

4. clubbing= 去酒吧
ex: when you go clubbing and wear a sexy top, you need to wear nu-bra.
ex: do you want to go clubbing tonight?

5. convenient store= 便利店
ex: There is a convenient store downstairs, we can go buy some chips.

6. permanent= 永久的
ex: permanent resident (PR)
ex: This is a permanent pen, if you get it on your shirt, you won’t be able to wash it off.

7. temporarily = 暂时的
ex: this is my temporarily residence 住所, I will move out next year.
ex: This is my temporarily job, I’m in a transition.

8. dare =敢

quarrel= 争吵

ex: this is a complicated relationship, I don’t know what to do.

ex: We have lots of common interests, so he likes to talk to me.

12. intimate (verb)= 亲密的
ex: he invited me over to his house to watch a movie, I think it’s too intimate. 1

ex: I was asleep when Jeanie called me.
ex: I mute my phone when I’m asleep.

My colleague, Jeanie, was broke up with her boyfriend, she moved out. Her boyfriend invited me to drink last week. We drunk. Je just want to talking something with me. I know a lot of things with them, they argued every time and send some messages to me, we talk about them. I think maybe he didn’t like her that much. I’m older than him 10 years old. He often send some messages to me. He study English and take a picture, maybe he just want a friend who understand him. One time, Jeanie argued with me, Jeanie told him, “you can’t talk to Angela every time we argue.” Jeanie wants to go back to him, she wants me ask him.
