Vocabulary

1.highlight (verb)= 划重点
ex: Can you highlight the important parts for me?
ex: can you highlight the areas where I need to sign?

2. highlighter (noun)= 银光笔
ex: I have many highlighters at home, I used to highlight the words that I don’t understand in a book.

3. mother-in-law =婆婆
father-in-law= 公公
ex: I cannot live with my mother-in-law, I will die.

3. distract (verb)= 分散
distraction (noun)= 分心
ex: My phone is a big distraction, I can’t stop playing with it when I need to do homework.
ex: My sister is a big distraction, she always talks to me when I need to do something.

4. rating=评价
ex: This restaurant has a good rating, let’s try it.

5. in a (     ) mood=心情
ex: I’m in a good mood today
ex: I’m in a bad mood today. = I’m not in a good mood

In the past, I have a bad life, I have a boyfriend and we get together 3 times, and we broke up 3 times. I broke up with this man on April. After that, I came here to study English because I want to do something to distract myself. I have a terrible life for 2 months. I calmed my heart down, I enjoy life, I go out with my friend, study English very hard, my co-worker introduced me to him, we have conversation on WeChat and sometimes we call each other. We have our first met after one week. I like eat hotpot and he took me to eat hotpot. During this dinner, we had a happy talk. After that, we think we like each other, so we get together. He’s older than me 8 years. Sometimes we have argue about very simple things, but he thought this is very serious, maybe he lives in German before for 15 years. I think German are very serious, I think he got influenced.
