Vocabulary

1. confirm (verb)= to make sure something 去核实 去确认
confirmed (past verb)
confirmation (noun)= 确认
ex: Could you confirm the meeting time for tomorrow please?
ex: I have confirmed the details for the design.
ex: Thank you for the confirmation for the (       ).

2. prompt (adj)= 及时的
ex: Thank you for the prompt reply = thank you for replying me so fast. 

3. disappointed in(adj) =失望的
disappointment (noun)= 失望
ex: I was disappointed in my team because we got a low sale.
ex: My parents are disappointed in me because I am not married. 我父母对我感到失望

4. exhibition (noun)= 展会
exhibit (verb) =展出
ex: I attended a boring exhibition, I didn’t see anything special.
ex: the gallery exhibited some famous paintings.

Yesterday, I had joined the YoHood event with my team. I have a little disappoint for this year. I didn’t saw some special things or booth during my journey. Maybe I will not join the event next year. Yesterday, you can see some oversea brand and some trendy brands to attend it. A lot of celebrities to visited the event. Consumer can engage with the brands which I think is pretty good, because of the brands can get more exposure on the social media.

Yesterday, I participated/ visited/ attended the YoHood event with my team. I felt a little disappointed for this year. I didn’t see any special things/anything special or booths at the exhibition. Maybe I will not go to the event next year. Last year, there were some oversea brands and some trendy brands at the exhibition. A lot of celebrities to visited the event. Consumers could engage with the brands which I think is pretty good, because of the brands can get more exposure on the social media. / because of the massive media exposure.
