Speaking exercise

My kid soon is 6 years old, he will go to primary school. This two months, I’m thinking about how to choose school for him and go to public school or go to private school. In china, there is gaokao, when he is in high school, we will go abroad. His father thinks it’s better he go to public school first because he can get more traditional Chinese poems, he thinks Chinese basement education much better, maybe when he junior school, I can change to international school. For me, I just worry about Chinese public school is too tight, because they study crazy, a lot of kids spend their weekend attend part-time lessons. My parents think the education most come from family not only for school. In fact we should spend much time with kid. The school just teach kid knowledge, but family give him much more, not just learn how to speak English.

Revised

My kid will be 6 years old soon , he will go to primary school next year. These two months, I have been thinking about how to choose the right school for him, should he go to public school or go to private school. In china, there is gaokao, when he is in high school, we will go abroad. His father thinks it’s better if he goes to public school first because he can learn more traditional Chinese poems, he thinks Chinese basement education is much better, maybe when he goes to junior high school, I can change to international school. For me, I just worry about the stress level of the Chinese public school is too tight, because they study like crazy, a lot of kids spend their weekend to go to/on extra-curricular lessons. My parents think the education come mostly from the family and no t only from school itself. In fact we should spend more time with the kid. The teachers just teach them knowledge, but family would give him much more, not just learn how to speak English, but the values in life.
