Vocabulary

1.cross the street= 过马路
ex: I need to cross the street to go to work.

2. jaywalk= 横穿马路
ex: some older people like to jaywalk. 
ex: it’s very dangerous to jaywalk.

3. blow the whistle = 吹口哨
ex: The policeman will blow the whistle if you jaywalk.
ex: The policeman blew the whistle at me and I ran.

4. braces =牙套
ex: I have to take off my braces and brush my teeth.
ex: I have to wear my braces for two more years.

5. France——–French
China———Chinese

6. subtitles =字幕
ex: I need to look at the subtitles when I watch the music drama.
ex: I always need subtitles for anything I watch, in Chinese and English.

3.5 = I’ll go on a trip for three and a half months.

8. front row —-I am in the first row/ second row/ third row 
middle row— In the movie theater, middle rows are the most popular ones.
back row — When I watch a movie, I like to sit in the back rows.

ex: I recommended my dentist to Jess, so we have the same dentist. 

I finished class with you on Tuesday, I had two hours time free. I took subway to IAPM, I felt hungry. I found a Korea restaurant to eat something in a mall. I wanted to order some food, the waiter told me to order on the phone.  When I eat something, I have to take off my braces. I finished my meal and then I went to IAPM toilet brush my teeth. I went for a massage for feet for 50 mins, because I don’t have enough time for the massage. I crossed the street to the WH theatre. I think it’s amazing, actors speaks French.

I finished class with you on Tuesday, I had two hours of free time. I took the subway to IAPM, I felt / was hungry. I found a Korean restaurant in a mall for food. to eat something in a mall. I wanted to order some food, the waiter told me to order on the phone.  When I eat something, I have to take off my braces. I finished my meal and then I went to IAPM’s washroom/ ladies room toilet to brush my teeth. I went for a massage for feet for 50 mins, because I don’t have enough time for the full body massage. I crossed the street to the WH theatre. I thought it was amazing, the actors/singers/ performers sang in French. The show was two and a half hours.
