Vocabulary

1. truth or dare= 真心话大冒险
ex: When I was young, I always picked “truth” when I play “truth or dare”
ex: truth or dare??

2. sleepover= 过夜
ex: I will have a sleepover at my sister’s house.
ex: do you sleepover at your friend’s house.

3. store manager =店长
ex: Faker is our store manager, he is a scumbag. It’s the truth.

4. refrigerator = fridge 冰箱
ex: I bought some food and put them in the refrigerator.

5. grocery= 杂物
ex: I need to shop for grocery = I need to go grocery shopping
ex: I do my grocery shopping online.

6. enormous (adj)= very big
ex: the elephant is enormous.
ex: You bedroom is enormous, you even have a walk-in closet.
ex: Whales are enormous.

7. wholesale= 批发
retail=零售
ex: Costco is the most popular wholesale store in Canada.
ex: Carrefour is one of the biggest chained retail supermarket in China.

8. chained=连锁店
ex: HaoDe is my favorite chained store, I can buy lots of things in it.
ex: WaiPoJia is my favorite chained restaurant.

In the past, people shopped for fruits, vegetables, bread and meat at small food stores and at open markets. Before there were refrigerators, it was difficult to keep food fresh for a long time, so people shopped almost everyday. Life today is very different from the past. Refrigerators keep food fresh so people don’t have to shop everyday. People also have very busy lives, they have time to shop for food only once or twice a week.

People shop for food in different kinds of place, in small grocery stores, at large supermarkets, sometimes at enormous wholesale store that sell food and other items at very low price. Some people even shop on the internet. They order food online, and the company delivers it to their home. And in many places around the world, people still shop in little food stores and at open markets, they are certainly many different ways to shop for food these days.

Ten was a bald. he keeps bald for two years.he wanted to change another hair style.Ten had dreadlocks for 5 months ago.he spent more than 2000RMB on his fake dreadlocks.his hair roots so hurts first week.he looks so cool.but he couldn’t wash his fake hair by himself. It’s inconvenient to wash hair and blow dry. the hair had bad smell when he didn’t wash his hair for three days .he removed his fake hair last month. the assistant help him to 烫头发.now.his curly hair looks so cute.sometime.he has a ponytail when he doesn’t wash his hair.
