Vocabulary

1.straw= 吸管

ex: I use a straw to drink water
ex: I use the straw to drink the milk tea.

2. built= the past tense of “build”

ex: I built my own house because I want a big house.
ex: I built a very big house, it has 100 tables, 2000 televisions.

3. on top of= 在（       ）上面

ex:  I don’t want to be on top of the mountain, it’s too scary.
ex: Your phone is on top of the TV.

4. could= past tense of “can” 可以 80%
ex: I could come tonight if I finish work early.
ex: I could eat some ice-creams if I get of school early.

5. frightened of = scared 害怕 😨

ex: I am frightened of the monsters.
ex: Lily is frightened of the snakes.

6. laughed (laf)= past tense of “laugh” 笑了

ex: Hank said something funny, so Lily laughed. 
ex: The cat is eating his poo, so Hank laughed. 

7. beast=野兽

ex: The beast is very big and scary, I don’t like it.
ex: The beast can eat 100 people.

8. hill= little mountain

ex: I rode my bike down the hill.
ex: the hill is small, so I hiked up the hill.

long long ago there were three pigs who lived with their mother. The first pig was white, the second was black, and the third was spotted. One day they said, mother dear, isn’t it time for us to out in the world and build out own homes? Yes, said mother pig, but look out for wolf/ So the three pigs started out. The first little pig met a man with some straw. Please sir, give me some straw. said the little pif to the man, I need straw to build a house. Take all you want, said the man, thank you, said the little white pig. Soon the pig had a house of straw. Along came the wolf. He knocked at the door, and the little pig opened the window to peep out. Little pig, let me come in, said the wolf in a loud voice. No you can’t come in, said the little pig. Then I’ll huff and puff, and I’ll blow your house in, said the wolf. So he huffed and he puffed, and he blew the house in. Then he ate up the pig.

The second little pig met a man with some sticks, please sir, give me a few of those sticks, I want to build a house. The man gave him some sticks and pig built a little house. Along came the wolf. He knocked at the door and said, little pig, let me come in. No, by the hair of my chinny chin chin, you are the wolf and you can’t come in, said the pig. Then I’ll huff and puff, and I’ll blow your house in, said the wolf. So he huffed and he puffed, and he blew the house in. Then he ate up the pig.
