I have read an article describing Chinese women mindset changes on marriage. Here’s my reading reviews and my opinions on if marriage is a luxury or a must thing to do.

Marriage for me is a luxury thing, it’s treasurable while it’s hard to get. For me it’s not a social obligation anymore it has become an extra luxury, to get it, it needs money, time and luck.
I think there are 3 stages for me before I step into marriage if I’m lucky enough. First stage is understanding myself. To figure out what I want, what’s my life’s purpose/ value. Then comes to the stage 2, find a guy who share a similar value, and most importantly we like and love each other. Stage 3, we are both mature enough to understand each other, and capable to get along with each other in a serious relationship. To evaluate my status, I’m still at the beginning stage to learn who I am.
Furthermore, the weakness for me in a relationship is that I’m struggling the extent of being independent / needy. I don’t know how to control a proper restraint and a degree. I can go extreme to both ends.
