Vocabulary

1.formal (adj)= 正式的
Ex: today, you look very formal.
ex: This is a formal occasion, there is a strict dress code.

2. informal (adj)= 不正式的
ex: This is an informal occasion, you can wear whatever you want.

3. refreshment= 茶点
ex: You had refreshments at the Dynamed opening ceremony.

4. botox= 肉毒杆菌
ex: Botox will help you to reduce your wrinkles.

5. wrinkle= 皱纹
ex: Wrinkle is my biggest fear.

6. hopeless= 没救了 没有希望了
ex: This project is hopeless, we have no budget.
ex: Lazy women are hopeless.

7. careless= 粗心的
ex: I was careless today, I dropped my water on my computer.
ex: I was careless yesterday, I forgot my phone.

8. per= 每

10. final copy= 最终完成稿

11. approve (verb)= 审核 同意
approval (noun)
ex: can you approve the proposal/ quotation?
ex: after you get his approval, then you can go ahead and do it.

12 refund= 退款 退钱
ex: In China, it’s very difficult to get a refund if you don’t like something.

13. exchange= 替换
ex: I couldn’t even exchange for the bigger size.

14. secret Santa= 秘密圣诞老人🎅
ex: For secret Santa, you have to exchange gifts.
