Reading
On Richardās birthday, he had a party at home. His mother made pizza and his father baked a cake. Richardās parents gave him a new dog. Richardās friends loved his birthday party because they played with his new dog but Richard was upset because his mother didnāt give the dog any cake to eat.
On Richardās 10th birthday, he went to the beach with his friends. They swam at the beach and they went to a restaurant to eat. Richardās friends liked his birthday party, but Richard was upset because he didnāt like his present. His friends gave him a wallet, but he wanted a baseball.
On Richardās 13th birthday, he had a picnic, his mother cooked hotdogs and hamburgers. They ate delicious food and played baseball. All of his friends enjoyed his birthday party, but Richard was upset because the girls didnāt talk to him.
On Richardās 16th birthday, he didnāt have a party. He went dancing with his girlfriend, and he had a wonderful time. His friends didnāt give him presents and his parents didnāt cook, but Richard wasnāt upset because he danced with his girlfriend all night.
