Vocabulary

1.assistant (noun)=助理
ex: Zoe is Judy’s assistant. 

2. hairdresser= 理发师💇
ex: I have known my hairdresser for 2 years.

3. chef = 主厨 (shef)
ex: the chef cooks very well, he is a good cook.
ex: the chef is the most important person in a restaurant.

4. gardener =处理花草的人 园丁
ex: I don’t have a gardener in Canada.
ex: The gardener will help me to weed the grass.

5.  vet= pet doctor 兽医
ex: my dog is sick, I need to take him to the vet.
ex: The vet will help my cat.

6. actor = 演员 (ac ter)
actress= 女演员
ex: We see many actors on TV.
ex: He wants to be an actor when he grows up.

7. dentist =牙医
ex: I go see the dentist every year.
ex: I don’t like my dentist. 

8. police officer= 警官 警察
ex: He is a police officer, he catches bad guys.

9. receptionist= 前台 收银员 re SEP tionist
ex: If you want to pay, you need to find the receptionist. 
ex: She is a receptionist, she works in the shop.

10. engineer= 工程师
ex: he is an engineer, he makes a lot of money,

11. scientist= 科学家
ex: Einstein is a famous scientist.

12. businesswoman= 女白领
ex: Lily wants to be a businesswoman so she can make lots of money.

13. waiter= 服务员
waitress=女服务员
ex: he is a waiter in a restaurant.

14. electrician= 电工
ex: if you need to fix your light, you need an electrician. 

15. pilot= 飞行员👩‍✈️
ex: He is a pilot for China Eastern airline （中国东方航空）.

16. judge= 法官
lawyer=律师
ex: The judge will tell you if you are right or wrong.
