Vocabulary

1.gang (noun)= 黑社会
gangster (noun)= 小混混
ex: Back then, people in the gang (gangsters) had tattoos to symbolise their “union”.

2. dimples= 酒窝
ex: I like men with dimples.

3.rebellious （ re bel lee yes) (adj)= 叛逆的
ex: if a girl is rebellious, then she won’t listen to her parents.

4. minor things= little things
ex: She would get angry with me over minor mistakes.

5. mindset= 思维
ex: if you have a strong mindset, you will lose weight.

6.immerse in (verb) = 沉浸于
French immersion
ex: I was in French immersion for 7 years.
ex: She is immersed in the joy of marriage.

7. civilians= 平民 regular people
ex: Do you think, as civilians, we should pay attention to/ follow up with the news?

when I was junior school, I went out with my classmate to drink. I was drunk when I got home, my mom was very angry and hit me. My mom used the hanger to hit me, that is so hurt. When I was young, I was very rebellious. My parents hate me not only because I did something bad, maybe they are not happy. My mom told me to pour boiled water into the pot, but I told my younger sister to do it, and she got hurt. So I got hit.

Recently, I read some news like many international schools, they teach not only English, but also the logic of English. I’m a little confused that what is the logic of English.
