1.make/ earn (verb)= 赚
ex: I made lots of money last year.

2. steady (adj)= 稳定的
ex: He’s making very steady progress.

3. roommate =室友
classmate = 校友
ex: I have a roommate who can make lots of money.
ex: Ally and I were classmates.

4. straight (adj)= 直的 （性别）
ex: You are straight.
ex: I don’t think my friend is straight.

5. blind date (noun)= 相亲
ex: Have you been on a blind date?

6. work (verb)= 能成／好用
ex: will it work?
