Vocabulary

1.jaywalk (verb)= 横穿马路
ex: I only jaywalk when I’m in a big rush.
ex: In the middle of the night, I will jaywalk.

2. commercial/ residential= 商业区／住宅区
ex: I like to live in a commercial area because it’s more convenient.
ex: we offer commercial spaces for companies.
ex: Most of the festivals are too commercial during this time of the year.

3. take a walk= 散步
walk my dog= 溜狗
ex: do you like to take a walk after you eat?
ex: people usually walk their dog in the afternoon.
ex: walk XX home =走路送XX回家
ex: if a guy wants to walk you home on the first date, he is a bad man.

4. foodie= someone who really likes food
ex: I’m a foodie, I like to eat snacks.

5. supplier= 供应商 供货商
ex: you have a find a stable supplier in order to have a stable business.

6. get rid of their inventory= 去库存
ex: at the end of the year, they need to get rid of their inventory.

7. survival skill= 生存技能
ex: learning how to swim is a basic survival skill in Russia.

Tonight, my boss will take me to attend a cocktail event at Long Museum. My friend work in Dior fashion, they invite all the VIP client. My boss company is their supplier. I searched my closet, I have no Dior bag.

We do many business with state-owned company, in China, this is basic rule.

Do you agree that the weather is able to affect people’s mood of personality?

Yes, if the weather is good, I will have good mood in the beginning of the day. If it rains, I’m consider wearing sneakers, I can’t wear a dress. If you don’t can’t make up yourself, it affects my mood.
