T1:
The two maps illustrates how the land will be changed in the future in order to improve frequent accidents in UK. Overall, there will be a roundabout at the junction of Forest Road and City Road, so that the three frequent accident spots located at the intersection with City Road will be disappeared.

There were two main Road, City Road connects east to west , and Forest Road run through the town from north to south. A school situated at the North-west of this field while there was a supermarket on the north-east corner, and their entrances both were linked with City Road. At the south end of Forest Road, there was a fork called low lane, which was dotted with residential areas along both sides of it that linked to the City Road. In the future, Low lane will be disconnected from Forest Road, and the residence is projected to be much denser. A roundabout will be built at the crossroads of City Road and Forest Road.

T2: Nowadays, many young people in the workplace are changing their jobs or career every few years. What do you think are the reasons for this? Do the Advantages outweigh the disadvantages?

In the workplace, the youngsters switch jobs and industries in a shorter time than before. I believe there are several reasons and it’s negative impact outweighs positive impacts.

It is caused by the expansion of new industries and the shift in people’s mindset. With the developing of science and technology, there have even new fields emerges every few years, such as e-commerce, live streaming and logistics. When a growing industry start to expand enormously, undoubtedly, it will need much more employees. Therefore, some of people might make a decision to contribute to this new field. Meanwhile, under this circumstance, people are more willing to search if there are better job opportunities for themselves. It is easily for job seeker to know more about position standards including salaries, welfare and job responsibilities in order to compare with their own. If they want to apply for a post, they only click the mouse to sand their CV and then start instant communication.

This phenomenon might have some advantages. People can try to work in various industries to sure if not not what they do is what they really want to do. Therefore, they would not regret for working in an inappropriate position or field in their late ages. However, I believe there are more disadvantages. For companies, it will increase cost for frequency changing employees, since it takes time and money training for starters, being familiar with company rules and regulation. For individuals, career change means they have to learn lots of new things to adapt their new positions. Most of their work experiences and interpersonal net work might be useless for their new work. It’s a waste for them.

In conclusion, it has become a common phenomenon all of world. Hope people make a deliberate decision before shifting jobs.

In the workplace, the youngsters switch jobs and industries in a shorter time than before. I believe there are several reasons and its negative impact outweighs the positives impacts.

It is caused by the expansion of new industries and the shift in people’s mindset. With the development of science and technology, new fields emerge every few/couple of years, such as e-commerce, live streaming and logistics. When a growing industry starts to expand enormously/at an alarming rate, undoubtedly, it will need much more employees/manpower. Therefore, some people might make a decision to contribute to this new field. It is easier for job seekers to know more about the average job compensation including salaries, welfare and job responsibilities in order to compare with their own. This phenomenon might have some advantages. People can try to work in various industries to try and see if what they are doing is really what they want to do. Therefore, they would not regret working in an inappropriate position or field in their later years. However, I believe there are more disadvantages. For companies, it will increase the cost of frequent staff turnover, since it takes time and money training newcomers to becoming familiar with company rules and regulation. For individuals, career change means they have to learn lots of new things to adapt to their new positions. Most of their work experiences and interpersonal network might be useless for their new job. It’s a waste for them.

In conclusion, it has become a common phenomenon all over the world. Hopefully, people are able to think thoroughly before considering a new job.
