What priorities do you have when searching for a new job?

Vocabulary

motivation – the inner strength that makes you want to do something by yourself.

ex. I don’t have the motivation to learn English these days.

self-study – to study by yourself

ex. Most people aren’t motivated when it comes to self-study.

voice – how much decision you can make about a matter/how much you can say about sth

ex. Currently, I don’t have a voice for deciding the design of my clients’ projects.

edit – to make changes to sth

ex. I don’t have any decision in editing the designs.

accept/decline an offer – to say yes/no to something

advantage – the benefit of sth

reimburse – to get money back from the company for expenses like transportation etc.

ex. Some companies reimburse their employees when they take a taxi after 10pm.

party A/B – 甲/乙方

in-house designer – working within a company as its employee

ex. Our advertising projects are all produced in-house.

benefit – a good thing that employees get such as insurance, sick pay etc.

ex. I heard that gaming companies offer good benefits to their employees.
