Vocabulary

competition – race

ex. There is a sports competition held in school every year.

dessert – cakes/ice-cream/cookies

desert – hot and dry place with not much water

bake – when you make desserts

bun – 包子

oven – what you use to heat up bread/chicken/potato

ingredient/s – items you need for cooking

ex. You need 5 ingredients to make this dish.

argue – when you and someone else don’t agree and you fight about it

ex Sometimes my classmates and I always argue about what to do after school.

captain – leader of a sports team

ex. Basketball/Football captain
