Vocabulary

motor –  a machine that makes something move (robot/cars/trains)

assemble – to put pieces of lego/equipment together

ex. It took me 3 hours to assemble this shelf by myself.

ex. My desk-mate is very good at assembling lego.

blindfold – to tie a piece of cloth to cover your eyes

ex. My friends blindfolded me and took me to my birthday party.

ex. He was blindfolded so he couldn’t see the robbers.

torture – to make someone feel pain physically or emotionally

ex. The students think that the teachers will torture them in the teacher’s room.

growl – the sound that your stomach makes

ex. Aiai thinks that my stomach is growling.

kinetic – movement

ex. kinetic energy/sculpture

sculpture – statue

inspire – to make someone feel that they want to do something and can do it

ex. The actress’s speech inspired many of her teenage audiences to be confident.

ex. After her trip abroad, she felt inspired to learn a new language.

Me and my desk-mate go to make a robot.

My desk-mate and I made a robot together.  

It was like lego.

It’s like lego 

Maybe in next time we will finish it.

Sometimes I make lego. We just have one because it’s just a same time.

Sometimes I would play with lego. We could only choose one because everyone did it at the same time. 

They climbed up and then they see teachers are eating sandwiches and not goggle gum.
