Vocabulary

Where did we get up to? – Where did we stop at?

banana peel – the skin of a banana

KABOOM – the sound when something explodes

litter – throw rubbish on the floor

ex. Do not litter – says the sign.

recess – break time

ex. We get 15 minutes of recess in the morning.

hunch – to learn forward with your shoulders raised/to bend your back and shoulders into a rounded shape

ex. Models have to stand up straight and learn not to hunch their backs.

closet – a cupboard with a door or drawers where you can put your food, cups, plates or even your clothes

mane – male lion’s hair

ex. Do all lions have manes?

Antarctica – large piece of land in the south pole of the world

ex. Emperor penguins live in Antarctica.

habitat – animal’s home

ex. Frogs live in wet habitats.

If the garbage is out in your classroom, what shall you do?

What will you do if there is garbage all over your classroom? 

The earth began to grow bigger and then BOOM

The earth began to grow in size/get larger and then KABOOM.

Maybe I will just mmm and walk away

Maybe I will get angry/frustrated/annoyed and walk away
