Vocabulary

blood test: get your blood drawn out

cut: 切,割,砍,剪,削,剁

eg. His arm got cut when he fell on the concrete.

eg. Be careful with the knife or you’ll cut yourself!

check-up: to get seen by the doctor/to do a test at the hospital

painful:

eg. I don’t like going to the dentist for a check-up because it is very painful.

eg. Ouch, it’s painful!

most adverbs end in -ly 

ex. I think she works carefully.

some adverbs don’t end in -ly 

good -> well 

ex. They don’t act very well.

comparative adverbs 

for some – add -er 

ex. You should speak louder.

ex. You should work harder.

for some – more -ly 

carefully -> more carefully

accurately -> more accurately

Speaking exercise

When I’m sick when I’m small I just cut myself and when I was 8 I go to the hospital. I do first the blood. I need to get ask for the staff. My mum with me and my grandma. It’s scared, I’m afraid of it.
