1 ) I striked the ball to the corner of the net.

2) My teammate kicked the ball at the goal and the keeper of the other team kicked the ball out of the goal then I get the ball and kick it in the net.

3) When I kicked the ball, a guy who was just watch the match want to pick something in the field and when he walked across the field, my ball hit him so I didn’t goal.

Corrected Version: My Football Match / Henry’s Almost Hat Trick

1 ) I struck the ball into the corner of the net, and made my first goal of the day.

2) My teammate kicked the ball at the goal and the keeper of the other team kicked the ball with her foot out of the goal then I got the ball and kicked it into the net.

3) For my third attempt, when I kicked the ball a guy who was just watching the match wanted to pick something up off the field and when he walked across the field, my ball hit him squarely on the harm and he blocked me shot!

Vocabulary

Hat Trick = to score 3 goals in a match, ”like magic” 

to pick up -> to get an item  from a flat surface and carry it up

ex. If you see something valuable 宝贵 on the ground, you can pick it up and give it to the police.

to pick off -> to remove an item from a useable surface, such as a place or item.

ex. If you see something unwanted/invaluable on my car, I can pick it off. 

to block – to stop something from going

ex. The thief wanted to make a robbery, but the police blocked him at the right time.
