During the Qingming Festival, my parents and I went to pay our respects to my dead grandparents. According to the local custom from my family’s hometown, we should visit there between 9am to 3pm. There are many different traditional customs in China. This is the custom in our region, however I have heard of another custom: People take food to the graveyard, then they would eat their food after sweeping the grave of their deceased relatives .
