  • Sit down. Quiet down class. Keep your voices off/silent. (a kindergarten class teacher would say)
  • Go away! Get out! (impolite) Hey, you, watch it, buddy! Listen to me! = Warnings of Danger
  • Come here, please. Come! Have a seat. Eat, just eat! (being hospitable/welcoming to people)

—->someone  accidentally say something Poetic —-> then you can say: ‘You are a poet and you didn’t know it!’

eg. Outside is where he tried —> sound the same = to rhyme

e.g. The lady said I like to wear red. = rhyme

eg. The lady is saying that she likes to wear red. = NO rhyme X

Compliment = a polite thing to say to someone
