Today’s topic I will talk about vacation….

Next week I will go to Osaka and last weekend I hung out with my friend and booking the schedule for next week’s trip, we will to 4 different cities on this trip in Japan: Osaka, Shenhu, Nailian, Jingdu,… the trip we have uh, three things, enjoy delicious food, see the beautiful places, drink sake… Sake is rice wine.

Yeah. And we have a four people coming with us for the trip. And uh we are so happy we are all friends together already… and in this trip we will not to go to booking travel agency, travel is we to plan it, and in this trip we can go to around the local roads and to enjoy the local people and places…. we will go to special places / off the beaten

For the conversation topic of today, I would like to talk about my next vacation !

Next week, I am going to Osaka !  And during this last weekend I hung out with my friend and we booked the schedule for next week’s trip. The plan is, we will to 4 different cities on this trip: Osaka, Shenhu, Nailian, Jingdu. For this the trip we have three primary objectives: to enjoy delicious incredible foods, see  to discover beautiful scenery,  and last but not least to visit a sake factory and taste the local spirits !

Yeah. And we have a four people coming with us for the trip. And uh we are so happy we are all friends together already… and in this trip we will not to go to booking travel agency, travel is we to plan it, and in this trip we can go to around the local roads and to enjoy the local people and places…. we will go to special places / off the beaten

Vocabulary

vacation = to take time off from work, and do something for fun, usually means for traveling/ rest

Holidays= a national or cultural time when EVERYBODY takes time off of work

during, over, throughout = to talk about a period of time

to hang out = to spend time with, and do things as friends, casual environment,

the plan is … = what we will do next  “Hey guys, what’s the plan?” / “What are we doing next?” 

Colloquial / not formal / Slang = to speak just with friends, or Cool people , it depends!

: (colon) to create a list of something, Chris likes to eat: Rice, Bread and Meat.

to have an objective: there is a Goal, something specific that you decide that you want to do

incredible = amazing, super super good

to discover beautiful scenery = to find very nice places, views of nature or something unique

last but not least – we are doing something cool and save it for the end (just in conversation)

idiom, or a useful phrase to express yourself

to taste / to have a tasting – to try a little bit of a unique or special food , to just try a little (with mouth)

the snow is very rough / not good quality  

ex. I like Japan’s snow better because it is softer.

Grammar

I am going to / I am doing / I am working = Present continuous tense 

subject + verb to be + verb ______ ing  + Object = Chris is studying English.

Try to Eliminate speaking with Uhhh …. hmmmm…. .just keep it Simple! And speak slower !
