Currently, I am learning English in Jingan temple nearby. So office …. uhh… hehehe… hmmm…

Computer. Monitor. Air conditioner. Furniture. Blackboard. Teacher. Charger cord. Box. Window. Light. Watch. Ring. Glasses. Vest. T-Shirt. Jacket. Skirt. Book. Flowers. Coca cola = Vocabulary

Currently, I am learning English nearby to Jingan Temple. The office building is called Elite Business Center, and the school is called Smart English…. Today, my teacher asked me to describe the surroundings in the classroom. I noticed many objects around me, for example:

• I am sitting next to 2 computers… 
• We are looking at the monitor for the class.
• We are using the air conditioner to feel cool.
• There are some different types of furniture in this room, a bookshelf, chairs, and a desk.
• We are teaching not use the blackboard—-> We are not using the blackboard, currently.
• This is(present)the  first time I met (past) this teacher.
• This charger(noun) cord is used for charging (verb) the computer.
• Cida, what is inside the box? Maybe I think there are some books, Kyle.
•  I can’t see outside of these windows.
• We can clear to watch others —-> With light, we can clearly see each other. At night, we can’t clearly see each other.

describe = 描述

What is the name of the girl wearing the red hat? ….. The girl who is wearing the red hat, her name is Rachael.

Guess Who = 猜猜是谁

A girl or boy —-> It is a Girl or a Boy?

She’s young or old ——> Is she young? Or, Is she old?

What is the function of this game? To organize the sentences—–> We can describe the physical appearance of these different people.

environment/surroundings = 环境

ex. In class today, we learned new vocabulary and described the environment in our classroom.

ex.  I interviewed at a company but the surroundings of that office were pretty bad. There wasn’t anything cool in that area. I chose to not work there. I didn’t want to accept their offer.

current situation =现状

ex. My current situation is really good, I am being positive about the future.
