Through the bar chart shown the percentage of women who consume five or more portions of fruit and vegetables each day marked the highest place among men and children, which the proportion of men accounted the second and the children accounted last in the general trend between the period from year 2001 and 2008 The whole consumption of all categories reach a maximum point at the year of 2006, with a increasingly trend started from 2001. However, after the highest point at 2006, the whole consumption of fruit and vegetables consumed each day started to decrease, and reaching an approximately 30% for female, 26% for male, and 22% for children at the year of 2008.

The bar chart illustrates that the percentage of women who consume five or more portions of fruit and vegetables each day is more than the percentages of men and children. According to this chart, men ranked second and children ranked last, following a general trend during the period between 2001 and 2008. The total consumption of fruit, including all groups, reached its highest point in 2006, with a sharp increase starting in 2001. However, after reaching its highest point in 2006, the total daily consumption of fruit and vegetables started to decrease. In 2008 the number reached approximately 30% for females, 26% for males, and 22% for children.
