VIP Class Notes (Joe)

Write about cooking something with your family. Use the vocabulary we learned to talk about utensils and where to find the different utensils in your kitchen. Also use the words ‘bring’ and ‘take’.

We built vocabulary by broadly discussing our families.

We must pay attention to the differences between ‘take/bring’ and ‘come/go’.

Vocabulary

My cousin is very nice and very thoughtful

Deduce / Infer – to draw a conclusion from information
After hearing a little about your father, I can deduce that he is an old man

Spatula – 铲
I used a spatula to cook eggs

Ladle – 钢包
I always use a ladle to serve soup

Tongs – 触发器
We use tongs to flip over the meat at the BBQ

Utensils – kitchen tools for cooking
