VIP Class Notes (Joe)

Homework

You should practice using the past perfect tense to talk about things that happened, or had not happened, before something else. For example, you saw your friend last week but you had not seen them for a long time before that. It’s important for the other person to understand what both events are.

———–X—–(a long time)————Y———-Now——

X – First event
Y – Later event
Before Y, I hadn’t X for a long time.

Make sentences with ‘bring’ and ‘take’.
Remember that someone can bring something to the place where you are. For example, you are in Shanghai. So, if someone from another places comes to Shanghai they can bring you something.
