Grammar

When we say ‘someone wears clothes’ that means that they usually have certain clothes on
when we say ‘someone dresses’ we are talking about the clothes they put on.
With ‘dresses’ as a verb, we can use adverbs like ‘beautifully’ or ‘fashionably’. We can talk about how the way someone dresses influences us. We cannot do this with ‘wear’.
