We focused on asking questions with ‘have you ever’ and answering with ‘I have’ and ‘I have never’. We learned about the difference between ‘did you do something’ and ‘have you ever done something’.

Homework

Write 3 questions with ‘Have you ever’  and 3 questions with ‘did you’. Remember that ‘have you’ is not about a point in time.

I trained my cat to shake my hand when my cat ask me to feed him some snacks and I gesture to my cat to give me his hand .Recently he seem to be understand that,so I am really happy.

My cat is really cute,he always squat near of his food bowl to wait me feed him and his food bowl place in kitchen so as I go to the kitchen he stand up and watch me at once.

My cat is adorable. He always sits near to his food bowl to wait for me to feed him. His food bowl is in the kitchen, so as I go to the kitchen he gets up and watches me at once.

Vocabulary

sit – completely down on a surface (e.g. sit on a chair; sit on the floor)

squat – not completely down (e.g. my cat squats when he wants to use the toilet)

flavor (noun) – Spicy food is my favorite. I like the flavor
taste (verb) – I will taste some wine. It has a nice flavor
taste (noun) – You have good taste in clothes.

Pronunciation

snakes / snacks – the difference is very important
snack – sounds like back
snake – sounds like bake

cuisine – the same sound at the end as ‘magazine’

bowl / ball – if you say these words wrong it can be confusing
bowl – the ‘o’ is like the sound in ‘go’
ball – the ‘a’ is like the sound in ‘tall’
