Well, at my university, where I have majored in three subjects including engineering, mathematics and architecture design, I communicated and got along with varieties of teachers and professors. Some treat the teaching as a serious responsibility，preparing the teaching plan in earnest，while others could be just prepared randomly and carelessly. For me, the serious ones make me improve in my academy, while the kind ones could be easily getting a high GPA. I would like to apply for an Associate position at ZS Associates in Shanghai.

I started working as a business analyst at EY-Parthenon in Shanghai in September 2018, and was fast promoted to Associate in a year instead of the standard two years. While at Parthenon, I advised a broad range of clients in different industries who constantly gave me positive feedback. Before joining Parthenon, I graduated as the top student of my Masters of Architectural Design and Bachelors of Civil Engineering at Tongji University in Shanghai. While studying I received several competitive scholarships and awards. In addition, I developed my leadership skills as the leader of an innovation project team of 5 and as co-founder of the Tongji Consulting Club. With high energy and responsibility I was able to lead team members to an outstanding achievement.

There are several reasons why I want to pursue a consulting career. To start with, I am sure to enjoy being a strategy consultant, based on my 3-year internship and work experience. This was in the summer of 2016 when I was an intern assistant at Bain. As a result, I realized consulting is a unique opportunity to comprehensively learn about business management and daily operating procedures by working on a variety of company matters. Over the past 3 years, I have started building and accumulating my business skills while advising clients on financial matters related to their investment needs. I now look forward to learning further about business management at ZS. Finally, I want to work in consulting because I truly enjoy interacting with a variety of people and solving their problems. Throughout my work experience, I have built a track record of developing and maintaining high quality relationships with clients, experts and my colleagues at Parthenon.

ZS appeals to me for three reasons. To start with, based on my experience with the ZS staff that I have come across during my career I know for a fact that they have truly enjoyed their time working there. Two years ago, I was interviewed by Ken Shum and Tim Lee, who both left an excellent impression on me of ZS. Additionally, I regularly notice ZS reports and subscriptions online and feel the insights delivered in some areas are incredibly inspiring and at the forefront of the industry. Therefore, by joining ZS I feel I would have an opportunity to work with and learn from excellent consultants across a number of industries. Finally, ZS‘s expertise in healthcare and pharmaceuticals also played an important role in my decision to apply, and I believe it is an industry that is worth investing in for my career.

For all these reasons, I am truly enthusiastic about the chance to work at ZS. I am available for an interview at any time and look forward to hearing from you.
