I’m getting married this March. My fiancé and I are excited to organize our own new family and open a new page in our lives. We booked the weeding venue last April and arranged photographers, videographers, a make-up artist, a wedding host, wedding planners in advance. I thought it definitely can run smoothly and the process is under my control. However, I went back to Taipei 2 weeks ago and started to look into the implement details. I realize it’s still a BIG gap to complete whole the wedding. At the same time, my wedding planners provided me the quotation, it’s totally beyond our budget and they are not willing to give us better prices. Then I decided to do it by myself and ask for helps from my friends. Now I’m a little anxious about our wedding. I haven’t sent wedding invitations, confirmed the guest list, pick up best mans and bridesmaids, wedding dresses, and finalized the rundown. My fiancé and I live in Shanghai and can’t handle things in Taiwan throughly. Although I’m so nervous time is getting close, it’s still exciting and interesting to experience these process with my finance. Our friends flying from mainland China, France, Canada, Taiwan, and family gather together to send their blessings for us at the same day. I still think it’s incredible to make it happen and so gratitude these people share their love for us.
