To be honest, I am not sure the opinion from the article is correct or not . According to the research report, although the experiment shows that students sleep with AC,their think ability are better than the others, it still not enough to prove sleeping in hot rooms bad for brain. Because I think this is a multifaceted problem and maybe every student is a different individual. I can’t confirm the result just since sleeping in hot room even though they measured intensively and considered temperature, relative humidity, carbon dioxide and noise. I think the experiment focus on more external causes but ignored internal cause. Also I think it just 24 participants, it is not very convincing. But I agree with high temperature is harmful to people. Not only it is bad for older adults, the very young and sick people but also bad for the healthy people. I think the temperature is so high that people usually have no appetite and cannot get a good sleep. If it lasts for a long time, it must be sub-health.
