Talked about her trip to Berlin & husband’s work. Focused on reminding her of some simple vocabulary & chinglish grammar.

Vocabulary

fan – dian feng shan
eg. we only had a fan in the hotel room because they had no AC

parade – party on the street that moves
eg. we saw an LGBT parade

restaurant – fan dian

“money is the root of all evil” – money is the reason for the world’s problems

they’re confused about their future 

perfectionist – sb who always wants everything to be perfect
eg. my husband is a perfectionist

Grammar

on double 11 – because double 11 is one day

at few years ago – a few years ago 

we go other country – we go to other countries / another country 

did you go – specific time
have you been? – in your life / already

Paris is like a girl, Berlin is like boy because he has many history story and has many war things. When we were in the taxi the taxi drive talk about with us, his English is not good and my English is not good but we talk about and he said I hate the war I think this world should like a ball. The earth is us, we should together, and we should like our tree, water, air, and she like music and art, when she heard my husband is an illustrator, he said Oh i like it you make new things every day. Why, he talk about us, because he said last week he had a chinese customer, this friend said oh berlin is not fashion because at 10 o’clock PM there was no shop, no restaurant open.

I think this world should be like a ball. The earth is us, and we should be together, and we should take care of our trees, water, air… and he likes music and art, and when he heard my husband is an illustrator, he said “Oh i like it, you make new things every day. ” The reason he talked with us is because he said last week he had a chinese customer who said “oh berlin is not fashionable because at 10 PM there are no shops, or restaurants open.”
