Vocabulary

triathlon – the event involving 3 parts (swimming, running, riding)

idle – not being used / not doing anything
eg. the bus will be idle for 24 hours, which means we need to pay for this time otherwise they will go back.

strokes (a style of swimming)

breaststroke – frog one
freestyle – normal one
butterfly – weird one
backstroke – whale one

floaty – a thing that helps you swim / not sink
eg. I wore floaties while swimming

kick – use your feet to hit / move them fast

dive – to jump into the water head first

hold your breath – to not breathe

expat – a foreigner living in a country

mission – a task that you get in the army / FBI …
task / job / sth to do – work
eg. my boss gave me a job to organise his visa

today i logged in the website which the government opened for foreigners working visa and i found last time i upload some documents to process the working visa but it was failed because some documents need some translation. Then i downloaded these documents again and tried to translate it by myself online. then i got the Chinese version. i passed to a colleague to help me check if there’s anything wrong. he told me i still need to put a company stamp on it. after that i put our company stamp and uploaded it again. then i told my manage we needed to send this documents to the immigration and check if he was available tomorrow afternoon so we could go together.

today i logged into / onto the website which the government opened / organised / setup / created for foreigners’ working visas and i found / realised / noticed last time i uploaded some documents to process the working visa but / however it failed because / as / since / due to the fact that some documents needed some translation (work done) / needed to be translated. Then i downloaded these documents / files again and tried / attempted to translate them by myself online. Once I finished that / Having finished that / Next, i got the Chinese version and passed / gave / sent / handed it to a colleague to help me check if there was anything wrong / to double check it. he told me i still need to put a company stamp on it so I did so and uploaded it again / re-uploaded it. Then i told my manager we needed / had to send these documents over to immigration and check if he was available / free tomorrow afternoon so we could go together.
