eg. I trim my beard once every month or two
eg2. Can I just get a trim?

clean shaven
eg. I don’t often go clean shaven because it’s uncomfortable

you take things for granted that you consider are given.
clean water is a given for westerners so we take it for granted… but Chinese people don’t.
