eg. it will be a minimum of 3 months

proactive – active – to do things yourself without waiting for others
eg. I try to be proactive at work

social media – douyin / xiao hong shu / wei bo / weixin

automatic < > manual
eg. I have an automatic car but I learned manual

I can’t drive manual – I never learned to drive manual / I don’t have the ability to drive manual 

I’m old school – I like older things / older styles / i am more traditional

fashion sense – your taste in fashion / style / what you think looks good

people had different tastes many years ago – sense of fashion / design

upkeep / maintenance – how much money you spend to keep the quality the same
